A day on the Oregon coast at Cannon Beach
I had been dying to visit the Oregon coast for years. Despite all the trips I have taken to Oregon, this was a place I had yet to visit and it did not disappoint.
We started off our day bright and early, heading out from Sauvie Island and making a stop at Dutch Bros. along the way. What kind of trip to Oregon would it be if we didn't make a stop at our favorite coffee shop? Like usual, I ordered a chai and then we were on our way to the coast.
Although we left early, we weren't going to arrive to Cannon Beach until after the ideal shooting time. I was worried we would drive all the way there only to walk away with a couple photos. Thankfully, the softer light held for a little longer and I was able to get a few decent shots. Although, I would have preferred some sunrise shots.
Once we were done wandering around the beach and taking in the perfect weather, we headed off in search of breakfast. Our first plan was to make a stop at the Sea Level coffee shop, but it was closed for winter! Instead, we found a little crêpe shop and each indulged in our favorite flavor of the French delicacy. I am personally a fan of savory crêpes, so I picked up one stuffed full of cheese, tomatoes, and eggs — the perfect breakfast.
We then wandered around town for a bit and took in the sights and smells that make up the Oregon coast.
