Travel Playlist ❁ December 2017
Wow, it's already the last travel playlist of 2017! This year has come and gone, but I am not one bit sad about it since 2018 must come in order for me to go to Paris.
Like usual, this playlist consists of some artists you may have not heard of and I hope you find some new favorites along the way while listening.
As with the tradition, there are a couple classic rock songs at the end of the playlist. This month features The Beatles yet again, but how could I not since just 3 short days ago was the 52nd anniversary of Rubber Soul — one of my all time favorite albums. This is an album that is constantly on rotation in my car and did you know that the album artwork is what inspired the "flower power" generation poster art. The inspiration for the font came from none other than actual rubber trees. "If you tap into a rubber tree then you get a sort of globule, so I started thinking of creating a shape that represented that, starting narrow and filling out," said Charles Front, the artist, in reference to the style he invented. And there is your fun fact for the day!
Now go on and enjoy the music!
