A spontaneous trip to The Lab and The Camp
A couple Saturdays ago my friend Lorina and I took a spontaneous trip to The Lab Anti-Mall and The Camp in Costa Mesa. We wanted a little adventure that was not too far, had great photo ops, and a coffee shop to work at. These two places were perfect since they were across the street from each other and had all of the above.
We first started off at The Lab since it is outdoors and we wanted to take advantage of the morning light. This place features a little trailer with a record store inside, a VW bus inside an Urban Outfitters, and various fun walls. If you are looking for a place to take some fun pictures, but also get a little shopping in, then The Lab is the place.
We then headed on over across the street to The Camp to grab some lunch at Taco Asylum. I ordered a mushroom taco as well as a fish taco, both were yummy, but not anything spectacular. Pro tip: if you check in on Yelp there is a coupon for $3.50 chips and guacamole. We found out too late and missed out the awesome deal. Guess we will just have to go back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We finished off our day working at a coffee shop, which I didn't take any photos of (oops).
Also, Thanksgiving is this Thursday, so there won't be a new blog post, but I am heading out to Palm Springs to work with a very fun hotel and explore the city. Blog posts will resume next Tuesday!
