The Saguaro Hotel

Joshua Tree National Park

Located an hour away from Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park provides a fun day trip. Made up of both the Colorado and Mojave Deserts, this park is known for its Dr. Seuss like trees and bouldering. Take a break from the city and go on a hike on the Barker Dam or Fourtynine Palms Oasis trails.

Moorten Botanical Garden

This family owned botanical garden not only features the first ever cactarium, but over 3,000 species of cacti and other desert plants. Wander around the garden or pick out your own cactus to take home.

Located at The Saguaro Hotel, El Jefe offers Mexican inspired food as well as over 100 tequilas. Try their Baja fish tacos and cantina margarita. If staying at the hotel, enjoy the tacos and margaritas by the pool!
